∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ This position is responsible for optimizing the grant administration process of the BRAC Health Programme (BHP) by shaping fundraising strategy and exploring funding opportunities besides coordinating the development of new projects, concept notes and project proposals in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Location: Head Office.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Developing fundraising strategies for successful engagement with donors and the corporate sector
∎ Developing proposals and contributing to programme design and development
∎ Providing strong, in-depth support to the proposal development process, including designing the technical and financial aspects, proposal preparing, timely submitting, and strategic pre-positioning and post-submission negotiations
∎ Building functional rapport with existing and potential donors, funding organizations, and corporate houses to explore new avenues of collaboration and strengthen existing partnerships with donors and bi-lateral organizations
∎ Liaising with BRAC GRP and BRAC affiliates in the USA, UK, and the Netherlands and with BRAC International. Work collaboratively with BRAC fundraising focal persons across the organization to manage existing tools and develop others to ensure high-quality business development practices
∎ Creating and maintaining a database of donors' agencies, donor organizations, and corporate houses along with their interest areas for potential funding opportunities
∎ Identifying fundraising opportunities such as announced calls for proposals (CFP/RFP), requests for submission of EOIs, etc. from different bilateral and multilateral donors and other funding organizations
∎ Responding to identified fundraising opportunities within due time.
∎ Ensuring responses to donors and partners on queries and questions on time
∎ Ensuring grant management processes enable timely reporting, responding to donor queries, representing BHP at donor meetings, and serving as a gatekeeper on the quality of grant management
∎ Leveraging the use of technology and social media where possible to initiate and improve fundraising activities as required within and outside the organization
∎ Preparing periodic reports for donors, technical partners, and BRAC as per plan and requirement
∎ Work collaboratively with BRAC fundraising focal persons across the organization to manage existing tools and develop others to ensure high-quality business development practices
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years of working experience in project / programme planning and management, donor liaison, and fundraising from diversified donors.

∎ Project planning and implementation including skills in budget preparation
∎ Management leadership in general and capacity-building issues in specific
∎ Knowledge management in theory and practice
∎ Understanding of corporate communications practices
