Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in Economics/ Development Economics/ Development Studies/ International Relations/ Public Administration/ Sociology/ Management/ International Development or any other Social Science related subject from any recognised university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify IDP advocacy priorities for hard-to-reach areas (Haor, Indigenous Peoples (IP)) to formulate, coordinate, and integrate the policy and advocacy strategy.
∎ Provide Leadership and technical support in the development and implementation of viable integrated advocacy work plan for the programme in line with the BRAC advocacy and other policies.
∎ Gather relevant intelligences on issues of hard-to-reach areas as to keep integrated approaches on top of the knowledge in the area and inform meaningfully the advocacy and lobby work to the management and BRAC.
∎ Lead, plan and coordinate advocacy campaigns and influencing events - dialogue, discussion, workshop, seminar, meeting, rally etc. to carry out the Haor and Indigenous People related policy and advocacy agenda collaborating with and engaging different stakeholder as appropriate.
∎ Participate and represent in advocacy events/ trainings/ workshops for capacity building and networking.
∎ Build strategic partnerships with organizations/ various platforms that will assist IDP in meeting desired policy agenda outcomes.
∎ Oversee planned activities (awareness, campaign and networking) and provide guidance to Head Office and field level staffs for ensuring quality programme implementation/ field operations.
∎ Coordinate execution of study and research on advocacy for hard to reach areas particularly haor and indigenous peoples, and also prepare reports as and when required.
∎ Develop IEC/ BCC materials, advocacy tools and policy/ strategy briefs for exploring IDP branding and results to greater audiences (internal and external).
∎ Keep coordination with M&E team for capturing the reach and effectiveness of advocacy interventions.
∎ Maintain liaison and partnering with relevant stakeholders i.e. Ministries, NGOAB, Department of Bangladesh Haor and wetland Development, Financial Institutes, Media, CSO's, and likeminded organizations and lead to arrange issue-based event at national and regional level.
∎ Collaborate with other projects in Haor and Indigenous peoples, also collaborate with Advocacy for Social Change programme for making exposure of IDP externally.
∎ Ensure capacity of Haor and IP staffs and partners in order to build their skills and capabilities to do local level advocacy and actions on holistic development to ascertain the effectiveness of integrated approach.
∎ Enhance Programme/ Organization's ability to quickly identify and implement national and sub-national consultation.
∎ Closely work with programme development and knowledge team in proposal development and resource mobilizations supporting with advocacy, networking and learning knowledge.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ 8+ years of experience in the partnership, policy, advocacy, campaign and networking field.
