Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as a focal point at BRAC HO to coordinate all routine issues with the HCMP Cox's Bazar team. Liaise between HCMP in CXB and BRAC HO as focal person for any support to HCMP in CXB or to settle follow-ups from BRAC HO.
∎ Work as a focal point and to coordinate between HCMP, Partnership Strengthening Unit (PSU), Finance & Accounts Department, and relevant programmes for timely submission of FD 7 and FD 6 for the new project and project completion reports to ensure that they meet all requirements and receive approval from the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB).
∎ Keep track of all proposals, donor and other reporting. Also, provide inputs to finalize reports and timely submissions.
∎ Coordinate all major logistics and supply chain issues for HCMP.
∎ Review large scale procurement-related documents and procurement framework agreements and as appropriate ensures vetting from the respective Director.
∎ Ensure participation and note-taking of Disaster Management Steering Committee (DMSC) and HO-HCMP meetings and tracking of meeting actions.
∎ Assist HCMP to obtain approvals from ED, CFO, Directors, and others as appropriate.
∎ Be responsible for tracking various meetings, visitor's information, visit management, and communication with relevant parties for organising and/or participating in forthcoming events and visits.
∎ Ensure regular documentation of HCMP activities and information-keeping at BRAC HO
∎ Conduct visits to HCMP in CXB as required by guidance from the Director, Humanitarian Programme.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the development/ humanitarian field is required.
∎ Proven understanding and hands-on experience in managing large and complex donor-funded projects
∎ Ability to operate in a complex organisation, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams
∎ Ability to manage a varied workload, work under pressure, priorities and meet deadlines
∎ Focused on delivering results by taking calculated-risks and problem-solving approach
∎ Must have familiarity with various bilateral, multilateral, UN donors in terms of their thematic priorities, proposal, budget format etc.
∎ Have proficiency in MS Word (Windows), Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Excellent time management, leadership, analytical ability, multitasking, facilitation, Communication, Presentation and report writing skills.
