Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Key Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Act as the second in command to follow the production process, drawing up a production schedule; Involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage
∎ • Ensure that the production is cost effective;
∎ • Decide what resources are required; Assist to ensure the production is completed as per schedule
∎ • Minimize production waste and frequently develop new ways of production to optimize resources
∎ • Estimate costs and set the quality standards; Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed;
∎ • Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmers;
∎ • Liaise among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
∎ • Work with management to implement the company's policies and goals;
∎ • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed;
∎ • Supervise and motivate a team of workers;
∎ • Review worker performance and prepare performance standards
∎ • Identify training needs of the work force and suggest to implement
∎ Functional Competencies and Skills:
