· Knowledge on production management

· Knowledge on process engineering

· Knowledge on cost management

· Knowledge on Total Quality Management

· Knowledge on Inventory management

· Knowledge on footwear components

·         Act as the second in command to follow the production process, drawing up a production schedule; Involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage

·         Ensure that the production is cost effective;

·         Decide what resources are required; Assist to ensure the production is completed as per schedule

·         Minimize production waste and frequently develop new ways of production to optimize resources

·         Estimate costs and set the quality standards; Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed;

·         Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmers;

·         Liaise among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;

·         Work with management to implement the company's policies and goals;

·         Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed;

·         Supervise and motivate a team of workers;

·         Review worker performance and prepare performance standards

·         Identify training needs of the work force and suggest to implement
