∎ Job Overview:
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at our team. The Production Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring that our footwear products are manufactured efficiently, meeting quality standards, and adhering to production schedules.
∎ Location: Srikhondia, Tongabari, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Line and Machine Layout: Ensure that the production lines and machine layouts are optimized for efficiency, quality, and safety. Collaborate with the Maintenance team to make necessary adjustments and improvements.
∎ Workers Enrollment: Supervise the assessment, training, and management of production personnel. Create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee development.
∎ Target Achievement: Set production targets and goals in line with the shipment dates. Monitor progress and take corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met.
∎ Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules, taking into account available resources and demand forecasts. Adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing priorities and customer needs.
∎ Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards. Address any quality issues promptly and work with the quality assurance team to resolve them.
∎ Cost Control: Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality or safety.
∎ Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe work environment, ensuring that all production activities adhere to relevant safety regulations and company policies.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall operational effectiveness.
∎ Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to optimize stock turnover and minimize carrying costs.
∎ Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with other departments, including Merchandising, PD, Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to ensure a smooth production process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 8-10 years of experience in footwear production (Synthetic/Sports).
∎ Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and materials.
∎ Proven track record in improving production efficiency and reducing operational costs.
∎ Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
∎ Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the footwear industry.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
