Responsibilities & Context:

Product tracking in the apparel sector should include effective, cost-efficient workmanship solutions and a deep understanding of apparel construction and product-related aspects such as patterning, construction, product operation breakdowns, materials and equipment required, and fit-related properties and applications.

Following are some skills that collectively enable a product tracker to effectively lead and oversee the development and lifecycle of products and the overall growth of the organization

• Competence in production calculations and engineering

• T&A Planning & Follow up

• Product and productivity analysis

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Understanding of fabrication processes

• Proactive and reactive problem-solving

• Comprehensive understanding of the product development process (from basic to advance)

• Thorough knowledge of apparel and Textile products, both theoretically and practically

•  Familiarity with various departments and their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

•  Proficiency in Lean management principles

•  Familiarity with advanced techniques and emerging technologies

Additional skills include:

• Communication and presentation skills

• Data analysis

• Creative thinking and R&D activities vendor management and communication - implementation and help in higher manufacturing.

Qualification Requirements:

• Min. 5-10 years’ experience in textiles production engineering

• Min. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Textile Chemistry, Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or a related field

• Thorough knowledge of textile industry and textile manufacturing

• Industrial Engineering will be a plus.

• Deep understanding of knitting, dyeing, and sewing, as well as machinery and equipment

• Certification and practice of manufacturing (Black Belt / 6 Sigma / Kaizen, …)

• Strong focus on continuous improvement

• Should have very good source to collect price of yarn, trims, dye chemicals, etc.

• Strong knowledge on Knit products and fabrication

• Basic fabrics/garments test knowledge

• Fluent in English (written & spoken) Dutch is an asset

• Excellent computer skills with MS Office
