Responsibilities & Context:
Provide strategic direction to the compliance team and ensure alignment with business goals.
Oversee internal and external compliance audits including social, technical, environmental, and sustainability audits.
Ensure local labor laws, environmental regulations, health and safety rules, and any new statutory requirements.
Evaluate and approve new factories based on compliance readiness.
Identify compliance risks and design mitigation strategies.
Conduct compliance training for factories, internal staff, and supplier partners on social standards, safety, and ethical sourcing.
