∎ Background in Lingerie and ladies' fast-moving fashionable knit Items (for European Market) will be highly preferred.
∎ Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology,BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference
∎ Training/Trade Course: Fashion Designing,Pattern,Sewing
∎ Skills Required: CAD, CAD Pattern, Fashion Designing, Product Development

Job Context:
∎ Candidate must have command over communication skills in English as well as Bilingual language;
∎ Candidate must have Some sort of product development Knowledge for ladies` fast-moving knit fashionable items as well lingerie for the European market with strong technical and design background
∎ Creative, able to think out of the box, strong at managing clients and excellent team leadership
∎ Proficiency in product costing and familiarity with the product development process
∎ Great fashion sense and solid technical background
∎ Coordination, facilitation and management of tasks within team and organization.
∎ Ability to think creatively & see the big picture as well as the small details;
∎ Capable of problem-solving & suggesting solutions;
∎ Extremely flexible and adaptive to changing priorities;
∎ Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, & take on new tasks as needed;

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop product development strategies to fulfil our core customer's needs by determining specifications, production timetable and developing marketing strategies
∎ To monitor the product development process to provide constructive solutions when problems arise
∎ Work closely with the production team to ensure a smooth process of sample and bulk production
∎ Understand the competitors and market competition and able to provide guidance and advice to clients
∎ Coordinate with Product Development design team, and fabric-trim team to develop new designs, fabric, elastics & Trims.
∎ Developing samples for photoshoot
∎ Preparation of merchandising sheet/BOM and tech pack after set approval;
∎ Process owner for style clarity meeting and hand over style files to production merchandiser;
∎ Work with the production team for PP samples, TOP samples and bulk approvals;
∎ Updating plan tracker and coordinating with the production team for on-time product launch;
∎ You should also be able to incorporate new RM ideas, silhouettes, and finishes and liaise with the sample room and International Team and Production department;
∎ You are responsible for passing on the cost components by liaising with the relevant marketing merchant to make sure the designs hit the buyer's target FOBs which also meet the required profit margin for our company.
∎ You will need to conduct Risk Analysis meetings and style amendment follow-up on styles presented to & picked up by the buyer at the initial edit.
∎ You will need to build good working relationships with all our customer design/sourcing teams and internal & external suppliers where necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years

∎ Lady's Lingerie &/or intimate background
∎ hands-on knowledge of all aspects of production & Quality
∎ Pattern making skills
∎ Fluent English
∎ experience working with European customers
∎ A proven track record of setting and achieving quality standards across a Ladies wear knitted and lingerie product category
∎ Experience in fitting garments and ideally pattern cutting within a manufacturing and/or retail (Technical Department) environment.
∎ Solid knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing methodology
∎ A firm understanding of garment pattern grading
∎ Experience in establishing raw material testing standards.
∎ Organized and efficient - the ability to multi-task and prioritize
∎ Good communication skills with experience in liaising with a range of suppliers and other business partners (internal and external)
∎ A systematic approach to logging and recording information
