• As a garment technologist, you will be employed in a Multinational Fashion Brand(Ohpolly.com) Backward Linkage Factory in the Rupnagar Industrial Area, Mirpur, Section -2, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

• You will support our Product Development, Sample and design teams through all stages of product development, from design to manufacture. You will carry out a range of technical, investigative and quality control work to ensure the end product performs to specification. The job involves working in an office, but you must be willing to travel to meet suppliers, customers and manufacturers.

• You will work closely with designers, graders, buyers and pattern cutters. We are offering this position to a Female Technologist who also has vast experience in Lingerie, Lady`s Fast Fashion Dress, Intimate wear, Swim and Sportswear product development and manufacturing, sampling, and technical know-how.

• Liaising with local & overseas designers and adapting designs to suit production methods; Making and sizing pre-production garments;

• Responding to product queries, including complaints, from customers; Making sure garments can be produced within budget; Overseeing fabric testing and fittings of first samples;

• Evaluating new clothing designs; Production support, review, evaluation and approval;

• Producing specifications and production instructions; Working with pattern graders to size pre-production garments and advising cutters and machinists on making up samples;

• Checking and approving sample garments and making any changes needed, including correcting faults; Visiting in-house clothing factories and other clothing factories to check on the process and advise staff;

• Making sure the sample garments are delivered on time and in good condition and ensuring customer satisfaction; Building up a good working relationship with suppliers as well as the customers;Maintaining all kinds of colour standards;

• Technical Troubleshooting in Sample making: In case of any Technical Issue raised during bulk production, work with the team and solve it;

• Keep commuting with the merchant team, production team, and other team members of the Quality team for betterment;

• Keep communication with the UK Designer and Tech and LA Buying team as well.
