Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and supervising the day to day procurement activities ensuring an efficient implementation of the procurement procedures in the project or capital, ensuring compliance to MSF standards and protocols, including but not limited to the following:
∎ Regularly getting information from IST (Intersectional Support Team) about assessment of the market for new suppliers to supply the recurrent needs of the mission and seeking products/services that offer the best value for money within the shortest timeframes. Negotiating prices and proposing new suppliers to be validated by IST. Developing and maintaining relations with IST, different suppliers in order to ensure a stable supply of goods or services.
∎ Collecting quotations and tenders following the MSF purchasing policy and providing updates on "item-supplier" data with collaboration IST: price, availability, quality, lead time
∎ Together with the Mission Supply Manager determining the purchase planning according to the incoming requests / orders, product availability (shortages/surpluses), delivery times, budgets, and other relevant factors
∎ Coordinating with the purchaser for smooth purchase of goods and supervising the purchasers' activity, managing the purchasing budget, and settling advances with the Finance Department
∎ Communicate well with the storekeeper and know the basic function of the item as well as the inventory level
∎ Cooperate with Finance department to make sure timely payment to suppliers is done
∎ Liaise with relevant stakeholders and secure the transport means to ensure the smooth delivery of goods
∎ Archive purchasing documents regularly and be able to refer to the necessary information
∎ Be familiar with MSF standard tools including Unifield
∎ Regularly update the status to his/her supervisors and generate and submit the report in time
∎ Performing delegated tasks according to his/her specialty and as specified in his/her job description
∎ MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities
∎ Received IR, analyse, checked supply MSF codes, budget codes, getting necessary approval and signatory based on the validation table.
∎ Creates a purchase order and, if necessary, syncs on to the IST instance for the next purchase steps.
∎ Follow up all purchase process in IST and share information regularly with reqestors.
∎ Prepare report of exeration of the lifetime of items and share with Supply Chain Team Leader / Supply Manager (if any) or Logistics Manager / Logistics coordinator
∎ Support Inventory according of the schedule
∎ Provide expired items for further disposal
∎ Prepare supply document archive.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1 year in MSF Logistics Department, previous experience in supply chain activities related jobs
∎ Mission language essential. Local language essential
∎ Computer literacy, working knowledge of Unifield is an advantage

Salary:
∎ Salary according to level Six (6) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 59347 Gross). 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
