∎ Design the layout and workflow of the plant and work with construction and supply chain technical team to finalize plant specifications.
∎ Ensure and manage overall plant operation to deliver the optimum output and cost efficiency.
∎ Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align business direction regarding plant operations.
∎ Manage and coordinate production schedules to meet the demands of the business.
∎ Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
∎ Ensure that the plant equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.
∎ Monitor and analyze production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
∎ Lead and coach a team of engineers, technicians, and production staff.
∎ Strengthen relationships with local communities and government officials to ensure sustainable business streams
∎ Develop a comprehensive manpower plan for the plant.
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Kazi Farms is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the establishment and operation of a new starch plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, coupled with significant experience in plant management, particularly in the starch industry.
