Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide basic primary health care services at doorstep and conduct health campaigns within the urban slum communities to provide healthcare services.
∎ Conduct rapid and accurate assessments of patients, including history-taking, vital signs measurement and physical examinations. Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition for appropriate medical intervention and referral.
∎ Administer medications, injections, and other prescribed treatments according to the BMDC guideline of medical protocols and standing orders.
∎ Digitally maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients, including assessment findings, treatments provided, referral and other relevant information.
∎ Connect to doctors for telemedicine or refer for in person consultation during home visit based upon client need.
∎ Maintain smooth supply and inventory management of necessary medical supplies and consumables.
∎ Communicate effectively with patients, families, and community members, providing health education and information on preventive measures.
∎ Ensure the proper functioning and cleanliness of medical equipment and supplies.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
