Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring equipment to ensure that the Chamber dryer is running properly and safely.
∎ Operating and regulating airflow and gas flow within the dryer, allowing for equal distribution of heat across the dryer to Adjust temperatures of the dryer to meet desired results.
∎ Monitoring the progress of each firing cycle by using visual inspection methods to determine whether firing has been completed or if adjustments are to be made to continue firing.
∎ Observing dryer conditions such as temperature, humidity levels, and pressure throughout the firing cycle to ensure the safety and quality of the finished product.
∎ Cleaning dryer chambers and vents to remove bats at the end of each firing cycle.
∎ Inspecting products to ensure that they have reached the desired level of firing before removing them from the dryer.
∎ Complete production log sheets, work instructions, and other related paperwork, operate the dryer in accordance with safety and health policies and procedures, monitor gauge readings, make adjustments when necessary, and take hourly readings on evaporator and injector status.
