Job Context:
∎ Location: Head Office
∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ Responsible for leading the effective and efficient implementation of the projects under the BRAC Youth Platform in Bangladesh: the scale-up of Amra Notun Network (ANN), and the pilot of Creative Clubs (CC).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop an operation plan for ANN and CC, with a major focus on rapid needs assessment and community engagement.
∎ Formulate the annual operation plan to align with the budget & expenditure and implement it accordingly
∎ Ensure quality of management system and compliance; Prepare plan for coordinators' and moderators' professional development.
∎ Review income, expenditure, budget, reports and financial status of the programme.
∎ Analysis of the deviations of programmes, identify key issues and work closely with team members and coordinators to address those issues and concerns.
∎ Analysis of programme outputs/outcomes/performance, identify progress/shortfalls of the programme and initiate necessary steps for improvement.
∎ Initiate innovative pedagogical interventions in the classroom for ensuring the quality of learning.
∎ Initiate implementation of new interventions in schools such as Sports, ECERS, a workbook on problem-solving, reasoning & critical thinking, a module for secondary school, etc.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years minimum working experience in relevant field.
∎ Very good at communications in different stages
∎ Analytical and have interpersonal skills
∎ Proficient in facilitating/conducting training and meeting.
∎ Advanced technical skills - advanced Microsoft excel, data analysis Tools
∎ Report writing and presentation skills
∎ Team player and ability to work under pressure
∎ Proficient in global and national education policies which are very relevant to economic or social development.
∎ Well experienced in secondary curriculum and project management
∎ Good at English (both in oral and written) and computer literacies
∎ Expert in programme designing and implementation as well
∎ Good at staffing to ensure expected outcomes within specified time
∎ Excellent in Teamwork and team building activity
∎ Having capacity to prioritize' tasks and meet deadlines
