Educational Requirements:
∎ University Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or a related science/engineering, with at least two (2) years professional experience working with compressed oxygen and/or oxygen networks
∎ High School diploma in science or engineering with minimum four (4) years' professional experience working with compressed gases and/or gas networks, including oxygen;

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organization Name: IOM (International Organization for Migration)
∎ In coordination with Site Development Operation Officer/Construction Engineer, manage and supervise the team of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Technicians.
∎ Ensure the O&M Technicians perform daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring to ensure all civil, electrical and mechanical components/equipment in IOM Health facilities and ITCs are properly safely functioned and in operational conditions.
∎ Ensure inspection checklists are submitted on the prescribed schedule and review.
∎ In coordination with Site Development Operation Officer/Construction Engineer, review and approve maintenance plans and review completed works and reports.
∎ Perform weekly and monthly inspections of each facility to ensure all civil, electrical and mechanical components/equipment in IOM Health facilities and ITCs are properly safely functioned and in operational conditions.
∎ Ensure that fire control and other safety measures are in place on all sites and are being followed by healthcare centre staff. Ensure that guidance is in place for responding to fires and other safety at each site. Provide training to O&M Technicians and to healthcare centre staff on fire safety and response.
∎ In coordination with Site Development Operation Officer/Construction Engineer, provide the guidance to healthcare centers staff on the proper and safe operational and usage of civil, electrical and mechanical component/equipment e.g. incinerator and generator, electrical and plumbing fixtures those are installed/provided in health facilities and ITC
∎ Proactively plan and undertake routine preventive maintenance of all civil, electrical, plumbing and mechanical components/equipment including but not limited for boreholes, water storage, pipeline infrastructure, generators, incinerator, water treatment, plumbing, electrical fixtures and fittings, and buildings at HP, PHCC and ITC.
∎ Provide training and technical guidance to O&M Technicians and health facility staff ? Coordinate with healthcare staff at relevant facilities and with the Site Development Operations Officer to identify, plan and implement required works
∎ Coordinate with the Site Development Operation Officer/Construction Engineer in preparing purchase requests for maintenance spare parts and consumables and submit to the Logistic/Procurement Unit. Prepare and submit utilization report to the supervisor and share to Logistic/Procurement Unit for the record.
∎ Ensure that equipment is kept in good working order at all sites, ensuring that defective parts/components are replaced and equipment is kept free of debris and dust.
∎ Ensure timely approval is obtained of authorized personnel for approval of requisitions, invoices, etc.
∎ Places systems in a safe condition for maintenance work, supporting maintenance activities and communicating status to the facility supervisor and co-workers
∎ Receives requests for repairs and generates work orders specifying the appropriate technical data.
∎ At the request of the Line Manager, participate in staff development and training processes
∎ Ensure that an inventory of tools and supplies is maintained at each facility, stored in an organized manner.
∎ Ensure records of maintenance and repairs are recorded by O&M Technicians
∎ Perform such other related duties as may be assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge and experience of working with gas cylinders and networks
∎ Knowledge in preventative maintenance and repairs on oil-injected air compressors, refrigerant dryers and filters
∎ Knowledge of mechanics and electricity, familiarity with compressors, and handling of electrical measuring devices, plumbing.
∎ Knowledge and experiences on Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems
∎ Knowledge and experience of fire safety in relation to compressed gas cylinders and/or gas networks
∎ Knowledge of Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) technology is an advantage
∎ Minimum one (1) year experience of supervising a team;
∎ Working with mechanical systems (e.g., knowing mechanical concepts, troubleshooting and repairing appliances, performing basic household repair in plumbing, circuits, fuses, and electrical components, operating hand tools and power tools, etc.)
∎ Working with basic refrigeration systems (e.g., understanding refrigeration cycle, Freon, compressors, evaporators, condensers, etc.)
∎ Working with electrical systems (e.g., understanding flow, wiring, outlets, etc.)
∎ Incumbents having technical/vocational training in maintenance with five (5) years of extensive experience in the relevant field will also be considered
Salary:
∎ Salary Monthly BDT 111,163.00
