Job Responsibilities:
∎ Obtaining port health clearance & other related certificates from port health office
∎ Obtaining inward clearance from Shipping Office when vessel arrives at chittagong port area (in case of Bangladeshi vessel need to submit crew articles after collecting from vessel at kutubdia/outer anchorage.)
∎ Submitting final entry pass to Chattogram Customs for vessel arrival with various documents after collecting from vessel & concern authority
∎ Obtaining quarantine clearance before arrival of vessel from port health office to submit various documents.
∎ Submit IGM (import general manifest) to custom Asycuda world software online system and collect import registration number.
∎ Submitting IGM to DTM (Deputy Traffic Manager) office to get permission for C & F, port and other related parties.
∎ Submitting application with various documents for appointing customs surveyor under custom act.
∎ Submitting application with various documents to customs F-Division to appoint boarding officer & to collect various document with signature from boarding officer (Custom officer).
∎ Attending vessel with customs officer, surveyor & other respective concern upon vessel arriving at kutubdia/outer anchorage.
∎ Keeping contact with customs officer to obtain discharging permission upon arrival of the vessel
∎ collecting various certificates of ships and crews from vessel to get NOC from MMO after consulting with officials.
∎ Obtaining income tax clearance form tax office to submit application and various documents for submitting port clearance to sail out vessel without delaying.
∎ Obtaining outward Clearance from Shipping office to submit online system (software) with various documents.
∎ Arrange crew repatriation formalities when needed
∎ Collecting vessel bill from port & agent association office
∎ Crew repatriation related activities such as Liaising with Immigration officer, city DSB, Shipping office for NOC, Medical for Covid test and port health for clearance.
∎ Flag registration for new vessel, collecting flag certificate, attending in annual/renewal survey with MMO (Mercantile Marine Office) surveyor and colleting various certificate and authorization as per requirement of technical department
∎ Obtaining customs section 78 guarantee in order to commence discharging on arrival of vessel without payment of customs duty.
