Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's in any discipline from any recognised university/ institutions
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop Upazila level Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and ensure achievement accordingly
∎ Organising and conducting community (Polli Shomaj) meeting and Union Coordination Forum (UCF) meeting for women empowerment and legal rights
∎ Organise and conduct sessions with men and boys for engaging them to address Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC)
∎ Organised Popular Theatre (PT) show and coordinate with Technical officer for ensuring qualities
∎ Ensure legal counselling, fact-finding, complaint receive, ADR/ ODR and client’s workshop
∎ Support to clients for filing court case, assistance to police station and follow up with the relevant participants including fact-finding
∎ Ensure referral service to the survivors (OCC/ DLAC/ Shelter), medical treatment support, DNA test, etc
∎ Ensure repatriation support and reintegration (Information collection and documentation, supporting rehabilitation and repatriation)
∎ Ensure VAWC reporting through customised software and MIS
∎ Coordination with technical officer for smooth functioning of intervention and provide feedback on programme design, implementation guideline etc.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge on community mobilisation, Legal rights, women empowerment, basic legal system and ADR, experience on women led CBOs, Knowledge and experience on women led CBOs, Disability inclusion
∎ Have skills in time management, communication, presentation, community organising and basic ICT
