- Well conversant with IT equipment.
Responsibilities & Context: Payroll Processing
- Perform day-to-day payroll activities in Garments Manufacturing Factory
- Prepare daily attendance report, absent report, late & questionable attendance list
- Accurately process monthly payroll for all employees, including operators, supervisors, helpers, and administrative staff.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, and production data to ensure accurate wage calculation.
- Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries through bank transfers or cash payments as per company policy.
Compliance and Statutory Deductions
- Calculate and deduct statutory contributions (e.g. Tax, etc.) in line with Bangladesh labor laws and factory regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory reports and remittances to relevant government authorities.
Payroll Records and Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and employee compensation files.
- Prepare and present payroll reports, variance analyses, and audit-ready documentation as required.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll.
Employee Queries and Support
- Address employee inquiries related to salary, deductions, pay-slips, and attendance promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with HR and production teams to resolve payroll-related discrepancies.
Policy Implementation
- Support the implementation and adherence to HR and payroll-related policies, including attendance, leave, and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality of payroll data and uphold ethical standards in handling sensitive employee information.
System and Process Improvement
- Utilize payroll software (SystechiHR) for accurate data management and reporting.
- Recommend improvements to payroll processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
