• Hands-on technical experience in the sample room
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurements, fitting and quality processes
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on all technical issues related to the sample process, fitting and quality
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have strong Managerial skill as a team player and team leader.
• Proficiency in pattern cutting and correction (both manual and CAD).
• The candidate must have experience in managing large sample room.
• Must have experience in Fabric Consumption calculation both manually and with CAD.
• Strong Pattern Cutting and Pattern Correction both manually and with CAD Software are the pre-requisites of the Job Role.
• Must be very experienced and have a strong knowledge of garment construction, garment fitting and altering garments to buyers’ requirements.
• Should have experience in Product Development and be able to Interpret design sketches to a well constricted garment.
• Must work closely with the Merchandisers, Production Team and the Technical Team.
• Must be involve in evaluating, measuring and fit test of all samples to ensure samples conform to the styling, specification requirements before submission to the PD Merchandisers.
• Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across all Brands and categories.

• Responsible for establishing the CAD System in the Sample Unit and ensuring Pattern Libraries are installed and used for fast sample turnaround time.
• Provide direction and technical expertise to the Pattern cutters and sewing operators during fitting and sealing when required.
• Handle garment sample approvals for all stages before bulk shipments, including PPS samples, and production samples
• Provide technical support throughout the sample process, from technical sketch to final approval of the seal sample
• Evaluate samples by reviewing construction, measurements, workmanship, and knit structure
• Communicate with customers and vendors during the sample process to achieve the best quality and fit, offering solutions for fitting issues
• Prepare detailed technical comments and review potential callouts in advance to guide vendors and factories in meeting bulk production requirements
• Approve grading patterns for all prints/embroidery and ensure matching requirements are met
• Address and resolve all technical issues related to garments
• Efficiently manage the lead time for the approval process
• Collaborate with merchandising teams and vendors/factories to resolve technical problems effectively
