• Understanding of buyer tech packs & measurement charts

• Knowledge of fabric GSM, repeat, nap direction & consumption factors

• Ability to optimize marker planning for cost control

• Strong coordination skills with Pattern, Merchandising & Production teams

• Certification in CAD pattern making is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of CAD marker making & fabric consumption

• Good understanding of pattern, grading & marker efficiency

• Knowledge of fabric width, shrinkage & wastage control

• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

• Familiar with PLM software and digital marker planning tools

• Team-oriented with good communication skills

• Prepare initial consumption (fabric & trims) based on tech pack and measurement chart.

• Create marker plans using CAD software to determine accurate fabric consumption.

• Calculate consumption for sample, size set, and bulk production.

• Analyze fabric width, shrinkage, GSM, repeat, and fabric type before consumption calculation.

• Ensure maximum marker efficiency to reduce fabric wastage.

• Provide consumption data to Merchandising for costing and price negotiation.

• Maintain consumption records and reports for management review.

• Coordinate with Pattern, IE, Planning, and Cutting teams for consumption accuracy.

• Perform tasks assigned by management.
