Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Verify, measure, and inspect incoming materials for compliance with specifications and establish quality standards when necessary.
∎ Maintain, monitor, and track inspection schedules to ensure timely completion.
∎ Match incoming leather with color standards and ensure 100% hardware inspection and approval.
∎ Send final inspection reports to relevant stakeholders and prepare daily checking schedules based on production demand.
∎ Manage attendance, reassignment, job rotation, and training for reporting sections.
∎ Prepare and present monthly reports on efficiency, defects, supplier review, and quality issues, recommending and implementing corrective measures.
∎ Collect and check leather loss reports, ensuring timely laboratory calibration and coordination of material confirmation for finished bags.
∎ Encourage team members to provide improvement ideas and implement Kaizen initiatives.
∎ Ensure adherence to all elements of S6S and establish incoming material quality standards for IQC.
∎ Monitor and optimize cycle time for accurate leather marking and ensure timely submission of reports.
∎ Provide accurate training to subordinates and ensure compliance with customer audit parameters.
∎ Promote sustainable practices within the quality control process and follow up on time-sensitive inspections and receipt of PI and replacement goods.
