We want to hire an Assistant Manager – HR who is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring employee Training & Development programs while ensuring compliance with buyer Codes of Conduct, local labor laws, and company policies. The role supports workforce capability development, social compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual training plans based on organizational needs.
Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) for all departments.
Organize orientation programs for new employees.
Coordinate mandatory training, including:
a) Workplace harassment prevention
b) Health & Safety
c) Fire Safety
d) First Aid
e) Child labor prevention
f) Forced labor prevention
g) Ethics and compliance
Deliver HR-related training sessions and coordinate external trainers where required.
Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and workplace performance.
Maintain training records, attendance, and reports for audits.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual training reports.
Monitor compliance with:
a) Working hours
b) Wages and benefits
c) Freedom of association
d) Anti-discrimination
e) Anti-harassment
f) Child labor
g) Forced labor
h) Health & Safety
Support factory readiness for announced and unannounced audits.
Ensure required notices, policies, and compliance documents are properly displayed and maintained.
Assist in performance management and employee development initiatives.
Handle employee grievances related to HR policies.
Coordinate employee engagement and awareness programs.
Maintain training matrices and competency records.
Prepare compliance reports for management and buyers.
Update SOPs, HR policies, and training materials.
Maintain records required by labor law and buyer standards.
Work closely with Production, IE, Quality, Compliance, and EHS teams.
Liaise with buyers, auditors, and external training providers.
Support management during customer visits and compliance inspections.
