Responsibilities & Context:

Dyeing Production Management

  • Supervise and coordinate dyeing operations according to production schedules.

  • Monitor and optimize PTH (Process to Hour) to achieve production targets.

  • Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and process improvement initiatives.

Auto Dispense System Operation

  • Operate and manage auto dispense systems for accurate dye and chemical dispensing.

  • Monitor and calibrate dispensing equipment to ensure precision in lab dyeing processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues related to the auto dispense system.

OrgaTEX System Management

  • Utilize the Orgatex system for recipe management, process optimization, and data tracking.

  • Input and manage recipes, color data, and process parameters in the Orgatex system.

  • Ensure the integration of lab dyeing processes with production requirements through the Orgatex system.

Process Execution

  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

  • Oversee the entire dyeing process to maintain quality and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Shade Topping and Adding

  • Manage dye shade adjustments to meet customer specifications.

  • Ensure accurate shade matching and consistency throughout production batches.

  • Recipe Making Develop and adjust dye recipes based on fabric type and customer requirements.

  • Document and maintain accurate records of all dye recipes and adjustments.

Dyeing Process Management

  • Plan and coordinate dyeing experiments and trials in the laboratory to develop new dye formulations or optimize existing dyeing processes.

  • Perform color matching and adjust dye formulations to achieve desired color shades and consistency.

  • Monitor and control dyeing parameters such as temperature, pH, and dye concentrations to ensure uniform dye penetration and color fastness.

Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Inventory and Chemical Management

  • Manage inventory of dyes, chemicals, and laboratory supplies necessary for dyeing experiments and testing.

  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and maintain adequate stock levels.

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze experimental data, test results, and production records to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.

  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing findings and recommendations.

  • Communicate findings to management and stakeholders to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
