Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science

Certification/Training will be an added advantage of

• Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)

• Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management

• Chemical Management

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies, Garments, Textile

• Vast knowledge of ZDHC, BHive InCheck, Oekotex, Bluesign, BCI etc.

• An ability to take new environmental initiatives and an independent working mindset.

• Good communication and presentation skill.

• Efficient in Microsoft Office package.

• In-depth understanding of environmental regulations and standards relevant to the textile industry.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Monitor and follow-up factory environmental related activities, targets & strategies along with keeping alignment with customer and group targets.

• Prepare a monthly key environmental performance report and share with all responsible departments, as well as monthly acknowledge its corporate office on a monthly basis.

• Arrange different training & awareness sessions such as chemical safety, spillage drill, EMS, waste management etc.

• Execute air, light, temperature, humidity, wastewater test quality and make sure all the parameters are under control at local standards.

• Arrange different programs such as Tree plantation, Earth Hour, Environmental Day etc. and prepare reports to publish on a group portal.

• Enhance environmental performance in Higg FEM by self-assessment & verification by a 3rd party.

• Certify a factory as a sustainable product (i.e.- Regenagri, GRS & RCS) manufacturer and handle renewal issues for the mentioned Certificate.

• Monitor legal licenses and certificates etc.

• Working experience with Better Work and Accord/RSC will add an advantage.
