Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure timely supply of raw materials for fabric and Endi Lachi production
∎ Maintain daily production reports for Fabrics, Endi Lachi, and Endi Noli
∎ Prepare loom-wise costing sheets for Endi Fabrics
∎ Calculate and process wages for workers
∎ Ensure timely payment of wages
∎ Maintain daily stock registers, including product received and supply register, WIP register, and fixed assets register
∎ Manage inventory for cocoon, Endi Noli/Lachi, Endi fabrics, and other spinning & weaving accessories
∎ Maintain day-to-day accounts of the center
∎ Prepare financial statements and other reports as required
∎ Manage income and expenditure accounts, petty cash, IOU, bill voucher processing, and all kinds of bill processing
∎ Analyze financial issues and statements and support internal and external audits as needed
∎ Check the master roll of the concern section and ensure wages/training allowance for artisans in the subcenter & main center
∎ Maintain leave registers and fixed asset registers
∎ Perform any other job assigned by management
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
∎ Officer, Accounts, LSDP, Bhasan Char, HCMP is responsible for production cost calculation of endi silk yarn and endi silk fabrics. Also Cost analysis and cost control of the project. Inventory management of cocoon, endi noli/ lachi, endi fabrics and other spinning & weaving accessories.
