Educational Requirements:
∎ University graduate in merchandising, clothing, textile or related disciplines
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish strategic business development.
∎ Plan for new season sampling and production orders.
∎ Manages fabric and material sourcing, sampling, pricing to provide competitive price with quality products.
∎ Lead the merchandising team to ensure effective sourcing & merchandising activities.
∎ Prepare plans to ensure orders are properly follow through from sampling to production and final delivery.
∎ Coordinate with factories on timely shipment of all orders.
∎ Strengthen and maintain the good relationship with customers to build the business.
∎ Provide leadership over strategic business planning, product development, sourcing and vendor management
∎ Work closely with cross-function teams including Quality Management and Research & Development
∎ Any other task assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ In apparel industry with minimum 5 years at managerial position.
∎ English fluency required, self-motivated, self-directed, proactive, solutions-driven change agent
∎ Excellent problem solving and communication skills to deal with customers and factories
∎ Strong management skills, and organizational skills
∎ Ability to effectively communicate with all personnel, from the production floor to the executive suite, in the company and customer organizations
Salary: Negotiable
