Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Direct, lead and manage day-to-day activities and performance of QA/QC team.
∎ Review technical packages and communicate with factory management to ensure quality requirements are met.
∎ Provide QA advice and preventive measures on complex product items to factories before and during manufacturing.
∎ Conduct and participate in various production meetings, ensure production transparency, and make relevant data available at all stages.
∎ Follow up and check all required samples against production specifications to ensure the necessary quality standards are met.
∎ Identify quality problems and/or potential problems, investigate the root cause, and initiate effective corrective actions in a resourceful and timely manner.
∎ Provide timely technical support to the merchandising team, factories and customers.
∎ Collect/extract production planning from factories, such as production lines and daily output capacity, and report to the merchandising team on production progress and delivery.
∎ Maintain all current quality standards, inspection reports and distribute as needed.
∎ To do pre-final inspection and FRI, ensure consistent production quality for various FRI, conduct Technical Audits for new factory selections as well as run factories, and support the CR team to ensure that factories meet customer/company compliance standards.
∎ Set up and update SOPs, guidelines and manuals for the department.
∎ Sources new tech to further enhance quality and efficiency.
