1. Self-Inspection System Implementation

• Establish a structured self-inspection system across all sweater processes: Knitting, Linking, Trimming, Washing, Finishing, Packing

• Ensure operators perform 100% self-check before passing garments to the next process

• Develop clear quality checkpoints for each stage

2. Training & Skill Development

• Train operators, supervisors, and QC staff on quality standards and self-inspection techniques.

• Arrange regular refresher training to improve defect detection skills.

3. Quality Standard Implementation

• Ensure buyer quality requirements and factory SOPs are clearly communicated and followed.

• Set quality checkpoints and control limits for each process.

4. Monitoring & Compliance

• Monitor daily self-inspection reports and ensure proper documentation.

• Conduct random audits to verify whether self-inspection is properly done.

5. Defect Analysis & Prevention

• Analyze defects (major/minor/critical) and identify root causes.

• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce recurring issues.

6. Inline & End-line Quality Control

• Ensure strong inline inspection to catch defects early.

• Supervise final inspection to meet AQL standards before shipment.

7. Coordination with Production Team

• Work closely with production, merchandising, and technical teams to resolve quality issues.

• Ensure quality is maintained without affecting production targets.

8. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

• Maintain records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

9. Continuous Improvement

• Introduce quality improvement tools .

• Work on reducing DHU% (Defects per Hundred Units).

10. Customer Compliance & Audit Handling

• Ensure factory is ready for buyer audits and compliance checks.
