• Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering (Mandatory).

• Specialization in Fabric / Wet Processing / Textile Technology preferred.

• Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

• Strong background in knit composite factory operations.

• Hands-on experience in fabric development, dyeing, and finishing.

• Familiarity with international buyer standards.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Candidate must be willing to reside within the factory premises/area and perform duties from the factory location

Job Summary:

Mitali Group is looking for a highly innovative and experienced Manager / Sr. Manager – R&D (Knit Fabric) to lead research, product development, and process innovation initiatives. The candidate will play a key role in developing new fabrics, improving production efficiency, and ensuring the company stays competitive in global textile markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Research & Development activities for new fabric and product innovation

• Develop new knit fabric structures, finishes, and value-added products

• Work on cost optimization, process improvement, and quality enhancement

• Conduct lab trials, pilot production, and bulk implementation of new developments

• Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams for buyer-specific developments

• Analyze market trends and customer requirements to develop innovative textile solutions

• Develop sustainable and eco-friendly textile processes (if applicable)

• Ensure proper documentation of R&D activities, reports, and technical data

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions

• Coordinate with Dyeing, Knitting, and Finishing teams for product development

• Evaluate new chemicals, dyes, yarns, and technologies

• Maintain strong liaison with suppliers and technical partners

• Ensure compliance with international standards and buyer requirements
