Experience:
B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed University with at least 05 years working experience in modern Spinning Mills.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 07 years working experience in modern Spinning Mills.
Technical knowledge in related machines and production process.
Self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude.
Good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills (oral & written) in English.
Sound Computer knowledge in E-mail, Internet, word and excel is a must.
Report producing for management.
Able to work under pressure, team Work, negotiation Skill.
Managing ability with problem solving & analytically skills.
Job Context
Ahmed Group, a reputed leading figure in the textile industry of Bangladesh is looking for experienced professional for the position of Assistant Manager/Sr. Executive (Mechanical). The incumbent will be based at the Head Office and will regularly visit factory to monitor, coordinate, and follow up on mechanical maintenance and quality-related activities.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate and follow up all mechanical engineering activities of factory from the Head Office.
Monitor machinery erection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance works at factory.
Ensure all production and utility machinery remain in proper operating condition through effective maintenance planning.
Supervise maintenance of mechanical equipment including spinning machines, generators, compressors, humidification plants and other utility systems.
Monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to minimize production loss.
Follow up mechanical troubleshooting activities and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
Coordinate with factory engineering teams to ensure effective implementation of maintenance schedules and SOPs.
Monitor spare parts planning, inventory, procurement requirements, and obtain management approval when necessary.
Review maintenance reports, analyze equipment performance, and prepare reports for management.
Coordinate with factory management to control maintenance costs within the approved budget.
Monitor quality department activities and ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and operational procedures.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to improve product quality and process consistency.
Conduct regular factory visits to review mechanical and quality performance and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and quality records.
Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
