∎ Diploma / Bachelor from a renowned university.
∎ Educational qualifications can be relaxed for the highly experienced candidate.
∎ At least 15 years relevant working experience in apparel industry and at least 5-7 years relevant working experience in Managerial position in trading/buying house.
∎ English fluency required, self-motivated, self-directed, proactive, solutions-driven change agent.
∎ Excellent problem solving and communication skills to deal with customers and factories.
∎ Management skills and organizational skills.
∎ Ability to effectively communicate with all personnel, from the production floor to the executive suite, in the company and customer organizations.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Make strategic decisions for order placement by assessing skill requirements, resource and capacity availability, and pricing.
∎ Guide the internal costing team to secure optimal prices and persuade local manufacturers to align with these goals.
∎ Manage order execution efficiently by utilizing real-time data and leading problem-solving meetings.
∎ Conduct weekly meetings to address delivery challenges.
∎ Take full responsibility for ensuring on-time delivery.
∎ Provide direction to managers in the sample, technical, quality assurance, and quality audit departments.
∎ Enforce quality and technical procedures, as well as SOPs.Support concern team in conducting weekly quality meetings and guide them in eliminating the top three defects using Pareto charts.
∎ Lead special projects with concern team to eradicate common defects and enhance the overall quality level (OQL).
∎ Motivate teams to ensure higher the order-to-ship ratio.
∎ Maintain vigilance over market challenges through close collaboration with the other department.
∎ Ensure satisfaction for both internal and external customers in terms of quality, delivery, compliance, communication, and pricing.
∎ Carefully manage company expenses in accordance with the established budget.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Director.
