Title: Merchandiser/Logistics Co-Ordinator

Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and manage cargo bookings and delivery of fabrics from Chinese suppliers for consolidation & delivery to Bangladesh.
∎ Liaise with China team to ensure all cargo is bulk tested and approved to ship.
∎ Co-ordinate with factories to arrange customs clearance to ensure in-house dates are met.
∎ Oversee bulk goods delivery from Factory to nominated forwarder to maximize time to ensure we meet customer delivery deadline.
∎ Approve bookings with nominated Forwarding Agents ensuring we receive Gold Seal approval & final Inspection before release of goods.
∎ Receive packing lists from factories, check details and ensure qtys are within tolerance.
∎ Communicate by email & resolve any errors found on the packing lists.
∎ Communicate to customer any Vessel delays and agree extensions where required.
∎ Order packaging & trims, checking print layouts & care label information according to customer manuals.
∎ Order sampling & bulk materials where required, communicate regularly with suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
∎ Communicate regularly either by MS Teams, phone, email or in person dependent on the fty and participate in meetings as required.
∎ Update PLM systems and Excel spreadsheets used for tracking orders & all deadlines.
∎ Liaise with UK Team & China Office and support with any queries.
∎ Highly organized with strong administration skills. Must enjoy filing!
∎ High degree of accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
∎ Strong communication skills with excellent spoken & written English.
∎ Experience working in apparel manufacturing or retail merchandising.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Office applications.
