• Experience: Typically, 5+ years of proven experience in apparel or textile merchandising, preferably in lingerie or activewear/athleisure .

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of athleisure and lingerie garment construction, manufacturing processes, and material sourcing.

• Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in forecasting, production data analysis, and managing complex budgets.

• Software Proficiency: Mandatory experience with ERP/PLM systems and mastery of MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Communication: Advanced negotiation and professional English communication skills for global buyer interaction.

• Soft Skills: Capacity to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines and resolve production bottlenecks.

• Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally if required.

• Order Execution & Planning: Develop and manage a detailed Time and Action (T&A) Calendar or Critical Path (CP) to track every stage of the order from receipt to shipment.

• Sampling Management: Oversee the development and approval of all sample types, including Proto, Fit, Size-set, and Pre-production (PP) samples.

• Sourcing & Material Management: Coordinate the procurement and in-housing of fabrics and accessories, ensuring they are approved and available before production starts.

• Costing & Negotiation: Finalize accurate garment costing sheets (including fabric consumption, trims, and CM) and negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and buyers.

• Production Oversight: Lead Pre-production (PP) meetings with quality and production teams to clarify tech packs, workmanship standards, and production targets.

• Quality & Compliance: Partner with the QA team to monitor inline and final inspections (AQL) and ensure products meet buyer testing parameters and quality standards.

• Buyer Communication: Maintain daily liaison with international buyers regarding order status, sample comments, and conflict resolution.

• Shipment & Documentation: Coordinate with commercial and logistics departments to ensure accurate shipping documents (PI, invoices, packing lists) and on-time vessel booking.

• Leadership (For Senior Post): Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance reviews for junior team members, ensuring departmental KPIs are met.
