- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction for intimate apparel and Activewear.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and merchandising-related software.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Manage the entire merchandising process for lingerie and activewear product lines.
- Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and factories.
- Monitor production schedules, quality standards, and shipment timelines.
- Analyze market trends and assist in product development for lingerie and activewear.
- Prepare cost sheets, negotiate prices, and ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and international quality standards.
- Track inventory levels and manage order follow-up to avoid delays.
- Work closely with design and technical teams for sample development and approvals.
- Handle order documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Resolve production or quality issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports for management.
- Support sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives as per company policy.
