Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile
∎ Hons in Textile Engineering on Apparels from BUTEX or reputed organization is preferable
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Apparel merchandising, Garments Merchandising
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle day-to-day Merchandising operations.
∎ Overall follow-up development to shipment.
∎ Understand and follow customer procedures for order fulfillment.
∎ Communicate with suppliers for raw materials, booking and delivery.
∎ Responsible for the coordination of daily operational activities in fabric, Pre -production sample development, costing.
∎ Production & samples follow up with factories and related procedures.
∎ Communicate with buyers on day to day merchandising activities and approvals.
∎ Prepare Time and action plan and sourcing plan with execution.
∎ Doing the consumption of fabrics, trims/accessories and prepare booking.
∎ Review fit and pre-production & Production samples with the Garment technical department, to ensure that all key comments are followed.
∎ Maintain Weekly progress reports, with up to date information on all orders & outstanding issues.
∎ Follow up & Coordination with Production, Quality and Commercial Department and on time shipments.
∎ Ordering and make sure all fabrics and accessories are in housed on time for production.
∎ Need to proactively inform to Head of merchandising up to date on any exceptions.
∎ To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have practical knowledge and skills on Microsoft Office, Powerpoint presentation, Adobe Photoshop.
∎ Ability to handle knit product order from development to shipment
∎ Complete knowledge on knit garment fabric, printing, dyeing, all technical aspects
∎ Strong communication skill and experience to work directly with buyer
∎ Practical experience on Adobe Photoshop, Presentation preparation
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Technically sound knowledge on knit garments (yarn to finished goods)
∎ Ability to work in a team
