Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a smart, responsible, and resourceful Merchandiser preferably with woven exposure to source fabrics & accessories and help plan for custom suits, blazers, and WFH pants.
∎ Bit Body Bangladesh Limited (BBBL) is a fully owned subsidiary of Bit Body, Inc., USA. We manufacture custom-made clothing for our clients globally under our own brand MTailor (www.mtailor.com).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Source new supplier with competitive materials price.
∎ To place materials bookings based on outstanding reports.
∎ Place scrubs, WFH fabrics, and suit fabric booking after the requirement generation.
∎ Ensure on-time delivery of fabric.
∎ Follow up on supplier's production status until delivery.
∎ To ensure suppliers on time payment.
∎ Follow up with overseas suppliers to hand over goods on time to our forwarder.
∎ Follow up shipping docs until received by our commercial team.
∎ Coordinate with the inventory & quality inspection team after goods are in-housed.
∎ Coordinate with the production team regarding materials consumption.
∎ Check with suppliers about new requirements from the US team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 29 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Woven merchandising experience especially with Suits & blazers and Man Made Fibres
∎ Ability to communicate with the US team.
∎ Prior merchandising experience.
∎ Strong quantitative skills.
∎ Sound knowledge in google Sheets and Excel.
∎ Willingness to work out of the factory in Bogabari Bazar, Ashulia
Salary: Negotiable
