Responsibilities & Context:
Inspecting garment equipment to identify any malfunction or need for adjustment or repair
Performing regular maintenance on garment equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshooting and resolving any mechanical problems or breakdowns
Replacing or repairing defective parts of the equipment
Testing the machinery after repairs to ensure it functions properly
Adhering to safety protocols while operating machinery or performing repairs
Maintaining records of machine maintenance and repairs
Training other staff members on the correct usage and basic maintenance of garment equipment
Keeping up with advancements in garment machinery technology and incorporating them into the workplace when beneficial
Ordering parts and supplies for machinery repair and maintenance
