Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager/Manager – I.E. to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving efficiency, optimizing production processes, implementation of lean management, Six Sigma project, VSM (value steam mapping), KANBAN and ensuring the highest standards of quality for our denim products. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to implement best practices in industrial engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Industrial Engineering (IE) department independently focusing on process improvement, efficiency, and productivity by implementing problem solving tools & techniques.

  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to minimize waste and optimize production and arrange weekly basis cost savings meeting & demonstrate to the BOD.

  • Direct and control the implementation of new technology and modern techniques to improve productivity and efficiency·

  • Monitor and ensure cost reduction by directing and implementing the reduction of all kinds of production wastage like - rejection, rework, wrong cutting, excess production, and excess working hour.

  • Implementation of QCO (Quick Change Over) to ensure zero change over time.

  • Ensure monthly basis style analysis meeting to feed the line with best product categories & productivity.

  • Ensure best cost-effective thread consumption & operation breakdown.

  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottleneck areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Standardize time studies, methods, and processes to ensure efficiency in production lines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-production, production, quality, planning, washing and sample to streamline workflow and improve overall factory efficiency.

  • Develop plant capacity plans and floor/factory balancing to meet production targets and ensure on time delivery.

  • Analyze critical point and take corrective measure before starting of bulk production.

  • Train and mentor IE staff and production teams on best practices and new methodologies. Arrange weekly basis brain storming session for the team.
