Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Communicate with the product development team to make the product feasible for production, and at the same time, meet customers' demands.
∎ Carryout pre-order costing calculation (Sketch & sample) with providing SMV, required operator, helper, machinery and thread consumption information to merchandising department.
∎ Co-ordinate production, IE, Quality and maintenance department for smooth line layout in the time of changeover.
∎ Ensure Operation Bulletin (OB) and re-engineering or balancing the bulletin for better productivity in cutting, sewing and finishing
∎ Measuring accurate factory efficiency, line performance, changeover effectiveness, capacity study, time & motion study, machine breakdown, etc.
∎ Analyze productivity and improve the system by Implementing Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Kanban) and innovation in different workplaces.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastages.
∎ Adopt industrial engineering practice in every possible area for maximum productivity and ensure optimum utilization of resources & implementation of QCO.
∎ To Implement IE tools & techniques in the Factory.
∎ Study and record time, motion, method, and speed involved in the performance of production and other worker operations using GSD tools and techniques.
∎ Bottleneck solving
∎ Six sigma Implementation Using DMAIC approach.
∎ Analyzing the Process FMEA.
∎ Ensure proper utilization of man, machine & material for smooth Productivity.
∎ Have to prepare day to day report to Management.
∎ Closely work with relevant department to figure out opportunities of innovative strategies to optimize the productivity as well as to ensure good quality output.
