∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Proven experience in a managerial role within the quality department of the knit garments industry.
∎ Thorough knowledge of quality control methods, textile testing standards, and garment manufacturing processes.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) is advantageous.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure product quality and product safety meets customer expectations and international standards.
∎ Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure that garments meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
∎ Monitor production processes, conduct quality checks, implement Technical Corrective Action Plans (CAP), review technical CAPs, arrange technical training, and address deviations or issues.
∎ Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all sections as per requirements.
∎ Coordinate with quality technical audit and all health and product safety requirement’s industry and international buyer standards.
∎ Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices to protect employees and maintain a safe working environment.
∎ Monitor production costs and expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or efficiency.
∎ Analyze production budgets, track expenditures, and report on variances.
∎ Continuously evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Introduce and implement best practices, lean manufacturing principles, and new technologies to enhance production efficiency and competitiveness.
∎ Lead and manage the quality assurance team to conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests throughout the production process.
∎ Analyze production data and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
∎ Collaborate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
∎ Train and educate production staff on quality standards, processes, and techniques to maintain consistent quality levels.
∎ Maintain quality and technical requirements with customer requirements regarding quality and safety.
∎ Maintain quality technical guideline with health, product safety, and environmental requirements in the production area.
∎ The candidate must have strong knowledge about Yarn Dyeing, Dyeing, Washing, Knitting, Printing, Embroidery and Knit Fabric quality.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
