• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or related field

• 5 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Minimum [5–10] years of experience in circular knitting operations

• Strong technical knowledge of circular knitting machines and fabric structures

Production Management

• Plan, organize, and control daily circular knitting production activities

• Ensure production targets are achieved within deadlines

• Monitor machine efficiency, utilization, and downtime

• Coordinate with planning and other departments to ensure smooth workflow

Quality Control

• Ensure fabric quality meets required specifications and standards

• Identify and resolve knitting defects (e.g., holes, barre, uneven GSM)

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement quality improvements

Machine & Technical Oversight

• Supervise the operation of circular knitting machines

• Ensure proper machine settings (gauge, yarn tension, stitch length, etc.)

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the engineering team

• Optimize machine performance and reduce breakdowns

Workforce Management

• Supervise and lead knitting operators, technicians, and helpers

• Provide training and skill development for team members

• Prepare duty rosters and manage shift operations

• Maintain discipline and productivity within the team

Planning & Coordination

• Collaborate with merchandising, dyeing, and finishing departments

• Ensure timely availability of yarn and other inputs

• Track production schedules and update management regularly

Cost & Efficiency Control

• Monitor yarn consumption and minimize wastage

• Improve operational efficiency and reduce production costs

• Analyze production reports and implement process improvements

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards

• Maintain proper housekeeping in the knitting floor

• Follow company policies and regulatory requirements
