Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: This position is responsible for leading the new initiatives under the Urban based projects. The role will be responsible for designing urban health programmes, providing technical guidance and support to plan for functioning, and coordinating programme activities at the field and facility level of the assigned/ urban projects.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead urban health programme design, and provide technical support for the overall implementation of the urban health projects at the central and field level
∎ Develop project-specific guidelines, standard operating procedures, forms, and reporting formats to document/ monitor activities and communication materials
∎ Prepare project proposals, detailed budget, MEAL framework, and workplan for the assigned projects
∎ Prepare periodic reports and other necessary documents for management, government, and development partners as and when required
∎ Analyze data to identify critical implementation and risk mitigation challenges
∎ Liaise with the donors, government, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of the projects.
∎ Work closely with multiple departments within BRAC and outside
