• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in supply chain/logistics (preferably in battery, electronics, or manufacturing).

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, import logistics, inventory management, production planning (once the factory starts), vendor management, and ensuring cost-effective and timely availability of materials to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management

• • Develop and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers (mainly China) and local vendors.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to ensure the best cost and quality.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.

Import & Logistics Management

• • Handle all import documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules, freight forwarding, and port operations.
  • Optimize logistics costs and lead times.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• • Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Implement proper warehousing practices (FIFO, safety standards).
  • Develop inventory tracking systems (ERP or similar).

Production & Material Planning

• • Once factory operations start, ensure raw material availability as per production schedules.
  • Align with the production team for demand forecasts and procurement plans.

Cost Control & Process Improvement

• • Continuously analyze the supply chain to reduce costs, improve lead times, and enhance efficiency.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.

Compliance & Safety

• • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, environmental policies, and battery safety standards.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and certifications.

Team Management & Reporting

• • Lead and develop the supply chain team.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement, logistics, inventory, and cost analysis for management review.
