Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Fresh Polymer and Paints Limited (FPPL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is establishing a state-of-the-art polymer manufacturing facility in the Comilla Economic Zone, Bangladesh, focused on producing high-quality uPVC WPC doors and uPVC foam sheets at FPPL. This includes overseeing daily production planning, ensuring machine readiness, and maintaining high-quality production standards to meet varying demand. The role requires optimizing machine productivity and manpower utilization while maintaining administrative control over the production floor.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end production operations of uPVC doors and foam sheets by setting strategic production plans aligned with business objectives and coordinating cross-functional teams.

  • Drive operational excellence by overseeing machine performance, preventive maintenance, and workforce optimization to maximize efficiency and ensure capacity utilization.

  • Ensure stringent quality control by establishing robust inspection protocols and collaborating closely with quality assurance and fabrication units to uphold product standards.

  • Analyze production data, cost metrics, and labor productivity to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions for cost reduction and waste minimization.

  • Oversee workforce management including talent development, training, and performance management to build a high-performing production team.

  • Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and warehouse functions to ensure seamless material flow, timely dispatch, and inventory accuracy.

  • Lead weekly and monthly operational reviews, presenting comprehensive production, cost, and KPI reports to senior management for informed decision-making.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, automation projects, and capacity expansion plans to support sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of operational discipline and workplace safety.

  • Drive strategic planning for future budgets, resource allocation, and production innovations in alignment with company growth targets and market demands.
