Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
∎ Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
∎ Plan and execute targeted campaigns to drive business growth in key markets.
∎ Lead and participate in sales calls with the team to drive business expansion, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
∎ Follow up on daily sales activities, new client acquisitions, and other key metrics.
∎ Monitor weekly and monthly sales performance, ensuring targets are met and key metrics like volume, weight, and revenue are achieved.
∎ Recruit, train, and manage a motivated and results-oriented sales team.
∎ Set individual and team sales targets and monitor progress to ensure optimal performance.
∎ Provide regular coaching, feedback, and motivational support to enhance team performance and ensure high levels of engagement.
∎ Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
∎ Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring excellent service delivery.
∎ Resolve client issues, handle complaints, and implement strategies to maintain customer satisfaction and retention.
∎ Drive new customer acquisition efforts and cross-sell or upsell courier services to existing clients.
∎ Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate partnerships, bulk contracts, and international delivery.
∎ Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and represent the company.
∎ Ensure accurate updates to the CRM system (SaleEx) with client visit outcomes, new customer information, and sales activities.
∎ Track and report on sales performance, including volume, weight, revenue, and client acquisition.
∎ Prepare sales performance reports for senior management, analyzing trends and recommending strategies to optimize sales processes.
∎ Work closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
∎ Coordinate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns and materials.
∎ Collaborate with the finance team for rate approval and ensuring competitive pricing strategies.
