Responsibilities & Context:

Supply Chain Management:

Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives and create SOP.

Demand Planning: Forecast demand and develop plans to ensure that supply meets production needs.

Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions, delays, and quality issues.

Compliance: Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Procurement:

Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives and implement procurement policy.

Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and assess supplier capabilities.

Market research: Staying updated on market trends and supplier capabilities to identify potential cost saving opportunities.

Purchase order Management: Processing and operating purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of goods and service.

Improvement area: Identify areas for improvement in procurement to continually drive performance and good result for company.   

Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to obtain the best value for the organization.

Contract Management: Manage contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues or concerns.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as supply disruptions, price volatility, and quality issues.

Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements.

Perform quality check: Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.

 

 

Purchasing:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies: This includes analyzing market trends, identifying potential suppliers, and establishing procurement policies and procedures.

Stock Management: Slow moving and noon moving stock identify and inform to management and monthly purchase report.

Manage supplier relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors is crucial. This involves selecting reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and evaluating their performance.

Negotiate contracts: Purchase Managers are responsible for negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Ensure timely delivery: Monitoring and tracking orders to ensure that goods and services are delivered on time is a critical part of the job.

Cost analysis: Analyzing purchasing data to identify cost which will be good for saving opportunities, track spending and optimize procurement process. 

Control costs: Identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating competitive prices, and managing budgets are essential for this role.

Maintain quality standards: Ensuring that procured items meet the required quality standards is crucial. This may involve inspecting goods, conducting quality checks, and working with suppliers to address any quality issues.

Purchasing Record: Whatever purchase maintain records of goods ordered and record.

Monitoring Market: Monitor internal and external market for benefit of organization for purchasing agents to prevent a shortage in vital materials, over purchasing and waste.

 

Inventory Management:

Develop and implement inventory management strategies: This includes analyzing previous data, forecasting demand, and establishing optimal inventory levels for different products.

Manage inventory control processes: Overseeing the receiving, storing, and issuing of inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Monitor inventory levels: Regularly tracking inventory levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete items, and taking appropriate action to minimize losses.

Forecast demand: Using statistical methods and market research to predict future demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.

Optimize warehouse operations: Collaborating with warehouse staff to improve storage layouts, streamline picking and packing processes, and enhance overall efficiency.

Manage supplier relationships: Working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and negotiate favorable terms.

Implement and maintain inventory management systems: Utilizing software and technology to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data.

Lead and motivate a team: Supervising inventory control staff, providing training and guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.

Analyze data and generate reports: Preparing regular reports on inventory levels, stockouts, and other key metrics.

Identify and resolve inventory-related issues: Investigating discrepancies, addressing stockouts, and implementing corrective actions.

Stay updated on industry trends: Keeping abreast of new technologies, best practices, and industry trends in inventory management.
