Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate closely with the Program Manager to support the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of local actors.
∎ Support the Program Manager with ongoing assessments, surveys to ensure activities are conducted as planned and on time.
∎ Facilitate collaboration and coordination with identified active networks and appropriate partners engaged in networking activities of Maitree project.
∎ Draft Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and other necessary agreements, ensuring effective coordination between Maitree and relevant networks.
∎ Coordinate with active network coordinators and relevant networks to design events, develop agendas, and structure event flow, including networking events, Knowledge Conventions, and peer learning opportunities.
∎ Support the Program Manager in coordinating with local actors and active networks to analyze network-specific activities, and organize network-specific meetings, dialogues, and Communities of Practice in coordination with the Operations team for administrative responsibilities.
∎ Share up-to-date information on host government policies, policy changes, reforms, and initiatives with Maitree partners engaged with networks to address development challenges.
∎ Regularly track and monitor the activities conducted by active networks in collaboration with local actors.
∎ Ensure sector-specific networking work plans and joint statements developed by selected networks are proceeding according to schedule.
∎ Track significant dates and coordinate with relevant units and networks to organize campaigns.
∎ Engage regularly Maitree’s Network Partner organizations to identify and document opportunities and challenges and develop recommendations for strengthening network engagement.
∎ Support the coordination of monitoring and donor visits in collaboration with Maitree’s operations, communications, and advocacy teams and prepare regular reports on network activities for senior management at Maitree and BRAC.
∎ Support the collection of network-specific MEL data and ensure timely reporting to the MEL team. Also draft quarterly and annual updates, as well as contribute to the development of the upcoming annual plan for network engagement.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action..
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ Job Purpose: As a Manager, Network Engagement you will support the strengthening of local partner organizations and active networks by organizing networking events, meetings, and knowledge-sharing conventions.
