Experience:

• At least 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House

• Bachelor's/Master's in Textile Engineering or BBA/MBA in Apparel Merchandising from a reputed university.

• At least 8 years

• Age 35 to 45 years

• A positive work ethic and a focus on results are required for assigned responsibilities.

• At least 3 years in a managerial role.

• The candidate must have adequate knowledge of the inquiry stage to shipment in the stipulated timeline.

• Strong experience in handling knit, woven, or sweater products (as applicable).

• The candidate should be technically sound in the costing & manufacturing process.

• Excellent communication in English (written/verbal) & presentation skills.

• Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork.

• Energetic, confident and proactive.

• Lead and supervise the merchandising team for effective order management.

• Handle buyer communication independently from sample development to shipment.

• Follow up on sampling, approvals, production planning, and on-time shipment.

• Coordinate with factories, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth execution.

• Monitor T&A plan and ensure on-time delivery with required quality standards.

• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements.

• Negotiate prices with suppliers and factories to achieve target costing.

• Ensure proper documentation, order files, and reporting.

• Monitor production status, quality issues, and resolve problems proactively.

• Maintain strong communication with buyers regarding order status and developments.

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and industry standards.
