∎ Bachelors in Media Studies/ Mass Communication & Journalism/ Social Science/ Development Studies or any discipline from any reputed educational institute.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Networking and maintaining an effective liaison with media for BRAC`s reputation management. Ensuring media presence and exposure on BRAC events. Managing a regular communication with DBRs to ensure that BRAC is represented at the local media properly. Implementing media campaigns for national level BRAC events. Managing local and national level media crisis through coordination with local, national media and BRAC programmes.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain regular and effective institutional media correspondence to ensure BRAC's presence in media.
∎ Ensure media coverage for BRAC's programmes/events through media invitation and follow-up, press release preparation, and circulation.
∎ Coordinate and implement appropriate response if BRAC is represented in the media negatively
∎ Maintain regular communication with BDCs and in cases liaison with local media for ensuring BRAC's presence and reputation in local media.
∎ Prepare and manage advertisements that go to media from BRAC.
∎ Visit media houses regularly to maintain networking.
∎ Plan and coordinate media visits to BRAC programmes to contribute to BRAC's profile building.
∎ Maintain and coordinate a regular flow of internal circulation on BRAC's media coverage

∎ Editing, People handling.
∎ Media Relationship
∎ Minimum 3 years required in development / communications / journalism

Salary: Negotiable
